I bump across a video in FB showing the application of XKDG. It is a clip taken from a life course in India. What is interesting about this video is that – it is the main dish of XKDG where people paid USD40,000 to learn and now it is available Free of Charge (FoC) over the internet. Really pity those folks who has invested so much. On the other hand, didn’t anyone feel strange that all the sudden there are so many masters teaching XKDG and QMDJ just barely attended these courses over the period of 5-8 days? Maybe there is truth in it as today, we have instant noodles. There should not be any surprise to have instant master, so to speak. Anyway as the saying goes, buyers beware. This video clip crystalize the method use by a young XKDG practitioner who was claimed to have revived Publika. Back in 2012, it was not disclose as to how would a gigantic arch-way performs the magical touch of drawing Qi into the west entrance of Publika. Now, as the video clip explained it is done in the following manner: -
The secret art of XKDG application is disclosed by the Video Clip. If you care to match it in a real life case, Publika is the best example followed by Tropicana Mall and so forth. My question is why only Kun Ren Yi? Many thanks to the “FengShui Artist” and his accredited instructor for the disclosure of the secret art in XKDG application for Free! MY OTHER WRITINGS ABOUT PUBLIKA A great tipped off. News have it that a not so well to do mall is gradually improving thanks to the art of FengShui. My visit there during lunch doesn't seen too promising. According to reliable sources, it used to be worse. That I could only imagine, splendor architecture without a single soul using it. What a waste. One biggest problem I must admit is the 'design failure' of the car park, absolutely brainless with so many blind spots, confusing driveways, narrow ramps and pathetic turning radius which only fits the 'kancil' (pun intended for the smallest vehicle produce by Bolehland). Technically speaking, such development is strongly dependable by offices and residential nearby. Obviously, you will not go there for no apparent reason. By virtue of its densities, it will soon be consumes by residence and office workers alike. Only time is the factor and the use of FengShui to expedite auspiciousness is warranted here. One cannot justify its FengShui formation without understanding the big structure with its complete embrace and Qi mouth. Understanding thus one would understand why it fails to prosper within a short period. In a perfect FengShui jargon it is said to have been imbalanced YinYang. However, the source Qi is still available, that is a good thing as far as RuDi Yan or Entering Earth Eye is concerned. Yet, I am a bit doubtful if it is within SanShui JiuXing FanGua Fa or method of the 9 stars in evaluating mountain and water, as claimed. It's pure wishful thinking. In any FengShui application, one cannot just go and instill all cures without understanding the layers of YinYang involved. This is one thing many FengShui teachers are not ready to teach. In a given context of a built structure, mapping of the Qi maps become important for without such how would one knows how Qi flows? Yet, it is surprise to see how many advanced students of FengShui actually fumbles when one asked how would one actually determine it is an incoming Qi and not an outgoing Qi. Implying also, is every door opens to the external is an incoming Qi mouth? Better, does Qi flows from left to right or right to left? Very fundamental question but surprisingly many advanced students are more concerned about formulas then all these building blocks of RuDi Yan. The entire complex is best represented by its main entrances. The Rotunda entrance was designed to expel Qi by architectural default. There is no Killing Sha outside whatsoever. The glitch is the water exit which creates a pulling nose effect. Do we really need to see physical water? That is a typical wealth leakage. Then someone informed me that the Qi flow is too straight from right to left and the bright hall is not big enough to coagulate Qi, therefore the FengShui artist actually recommended a water feature to 'boundary' the Qi. These are the lesson they learn as graduate FengShui practitioners. I really hope that they had heard it wrongly, for all purpose said why would a potted water feature installed and not a pond dug out from the ground? Too much theory overdosed? As for the flaw in the internal bright hall, a sunken platform is always a technically challenged solution, yet there are other ways to go about it. Saying thus the eateries at the white tiger side enjoys brisk business while the others so-so and my instant question is why? West entrance contains the signature archway cure, which is one celebrated method innovated to give an extra edge to XuanKong DaGua landform as was told, apparently inspired by the Chinese Archways Pass, which is already a very common method in the Chinese Civilization. The western Urban Designer called it Gateways, which denotes the entrance and exit of a city. Having such, all the internal doors are unified by this grand archway and it becomes the primary Qi mouth. Logically it may sound, but I have a different opinion to it. To understand the intricate set up of the west entrance, one has to understand that it is receiving Yin structure, very unsentimental. So naturally a twisted archway is called for be it aligned to a particular DaGua is subject to further scrutiny. Yet, it is a pure landform solution to a landform problem. Hill likes landscapes or nicknamed "ToFu", as was told to me, replicates the JuMen mountain at the rear. The fact is it is no more then to create cascading water effects to slow down Qi, nothing complicated whatsoever. There is also the drain to be addressed but that is another tale for another time. Having the Qi mouth fixed, the real "kungfu" is still within the proper main entrance to the complex in relation to the archway. Yet, is it still considered the main incoming Qi mouth? Having say so, beginner mistake - make all Qi mouth to be incoming! There is a reason for the east entrance to dispel Qi. The eastern bright hall to be cluttered and so forth and a 'pet' cafe store to be located to have very little customer and to have its FengShui rectified. My question, would one prefer to use SanHe or SanYuan in this instances? If it is FengShuied, the amount of customer within such period is still far from satisfactory, belittling the secret method of XieZi Fa 些子法, if there is any? I am puzzled by the fact that the ingenuity and the real intention of the FengShui artist was not clearly stated from the horse's mouth knowing beforehand that such masterpiece would be an invaluable discussion among his beloved graduating students who is one day crafting their names in the industry quoting ill equipped as an undisputed reason. So much so as a bona-fide gesture, Will await one day that such case study would be made available from the artist point of view and be discussed without the air of a master. my other writings about tropicana mall This is a Mall straddle between the NKVE highways, designed to be a stop over whenever commuters are stuck in the peak hour traffic jam. Good in theory but since its inception, it suffers from lack of human traffic just like the other case of Re-Publika, detail read HERE.
Undergone some makeover especially on the main entrance. Nothing extraordinary, besides crafting of the entrance, a row of water features were added and believed it, it gets better by the day, although Qi distributions on the internal still far from ideal compared to the suburb Mall, we talked about previously. Yes blame it to the strong ShaQi emitting from the highways. Imagine, the entire fate of the mall depends on the main door but in many cases, the corrective measures does not involve door tilting. Just a rectification of the immediate bright hall would do justice.

Classics state TuGui 土圭 it didn’t state LuoPan 羅盤. This is a reason why the late Li DingXin said there is no accurate LuoPan since the Qing Dynasty. His example was Early Heaven Kan can never starts from direct Zi as TuGui uses the Solar North and not the magnetic North. If you are not able to discern such you are not able to determine location 方位. Jade Ruler 玉尺 can either means landform using the mountains as ruler or implying the classic of Jade Ruler 玉尺经. Assuming if this classic is only available in the Tang Dynasty, why has it being mentioned in the Jin Dynasty? Water as Red Pheonix and presumably contradicted that the table mountain 岸山 as Red Pheonix? Assuming that incoming water as it is prescribed as originates in ShengQi, dispatched in Nurture, moving to Prosperous, converge in Weakening, leaving in Grave are but the prescription of the 12 growth phases, it did not specifically spelt out its YinYang. This phrase 衰旺系乎形, means weak or prosperous relates to form (topography). It is the landform that determines the 12 growth phases. YinYang is only being implied. You will be surprised if a SanYuan master come and tell you Table Mountain 岸山 (which is supposing to be at the front) may also be at the rear as 岸 means shore. So, converge in Weakening 泽于将衰 does not necessary means the Bright Hall 明堂. 其来无源,其去无流 - its coming has no root, its going is seemed without leaving, Red Pheonix water reluctantly leaving the formation. In this case, a water mouth to some schools. SanHe school would say “its going is seemed without leaving” is by means of locking the water mouth with visually blocking by a mountain. SanYuan school would say, it could also means converge in Weakening 泽于将衰 by means of a pool or lake. Walking the Dragon is extremely fun. One being as you have to pay exorbitant fee to be shown around beautiful scenery and how and what a TangLang star may looks like, you will also be shown actual spot that may be a “needle width” where you could burry some of your DNA as “ShengJi” and really hope that by the time you arrive home, you will be the next billionaire. Well, the last time I heard is that walking the Dragon to China costs more than USD40,000? Really wonder who is the billionaire? 三年寻龙 , 十年点穴. Ancient master said, it takes 3 years to walk the dragon 三年寻龙 and 10 years to dot the meridian spot 十年点穴. It means to say to walk the dragon is very tedious process and to dot the meridian is even more difficult. Assuming the method one learnt is correct, if not even a 100 years you may not able to dot the meridian correctly. Locating the meridian point is not an easy venture.
The sole purpose of walking the Dragon is to locate the “holy – spot” called the meridian. Tons had been written about it and some said it is as small as a “needle width” but that is not very true. Such subject is largely referred to as Static Meridian, where only with the right natural conditions, such a spot would emerged. It is so “holy – molly” that only an earth deity would able to reveal to the deserving one not otherwise it is impossible to find. Even if it is chanced upon, you would need to “barter trade” your lifespan for the prosperity of your later generations. Anyway, walking the Dragon can now be simplified with GoogleEarth, just to get the basic right as for example incoming and outgoing water and so forth. Back to NuoDeng, isn’t it rather strange that the prosper areas are not within the TaiQi plain and they are not within the highland but the lowland or rather flatland? Even with walking the Dragon, what do we need to observe? How or rather what do we measure with our LuoPan? The dynamic aspect is what we require to measure – because that is how we know Qi flow. If we do not know Qi flow, what else do we measure? This is where Qi map becomes very important.
Only when you really need to dot the meridian point, you will need to do some walking the Dragon. You need to measure the appropriate heights of the embraces in relation to the incoming vein. There are many things that when we pick up the study of FengShui, we take for granted that what is said and written in books are nothing but the truth. We forgot to investigate if such truths are false theory or something that has been made up to confuse us. For example, a very simple FengShui idea such as why must a property is said to be in compliance with good FengShui if it is facing an open space such as a river? Well, logically deduction would have been facing an open space is good because it enables good quality air to be brought into the house from the main entrance. When the house face a lower ground, it is always higher at the rear and this call high ground denotes a backing mountain enable noblemen assistance. Well, you can continue to built upon this line of reasoning until you come across someone that say, hey that is not true. Qi flows from high ground to low ground. Why not facing high ground instead? You see, many rich people houses are built on cliff overlooking panorama views at the rear. Don't tell me these sort of houses have bad FengShui? There is a very important fundamental annex to these questions. If you are able to discern the "key" to these questions you are able to unlock a lot of treasure troves among all the seemingly conflicting theories available in the market today. So, what is the fundamental theory that explain these? I am happy to hear from you. Question 1: In regardless of how the river flows, why almost all FengShui books and FengShui Masters believed that the property must always face towards the direction of the river? Any FengShui theory that can explain this phenomenon? Question 2: In regardless of how the river flows, which part of the River bank prosper first – A or B? and Why?
Strange but true, most of us think that BaZhai or fondly known as 8 mansions techniques are Kindergarten stuff, these techniques are the most advanced stuff in YangGong method. Gone are the necessities to look at the water mouth with the true BaZhai and when you are able to discern to the correct Gua – you are able to dictate what is mountain and what is water indirectly dictate what your Xue positions is. This is where SanHe and SanYuan break apart and merged as a one and only solution. However, the true technique has been concealed beyond recognition. Let’s take BaZhai MingJing (BZMJ) for instance. It is one of the most common and most corrupted textbook in this subject taking sources from all sorts of classics available at that time, adding chapters upon chapters by various authors. Some believes that it is a false method first designed by YiXing to pass it on to the barbaric nations of his time such as Japan and Korea only to return to the middle Kingdom to confuse the Chinese notably during the Qing Dynasty where people like Zhang BingLing marketed himself almost similar to those of our modern contemporaries. What exactly is BaZhai MingJing?
Gua, Star Relationships The common mantra Early Heaven as the principle, Later Heaven as the application. In BaZhai the Body is the Earth Plate and the Application is the Heaven Plate relationship. Earth Plate referred to the Later Heaven BaGua and Heaven Plate related to Purple White Star (Heaven Qi). This is not accurate. Earth Plate refers to the SanHe frames while Heaven Plate refers to the SanYuan Qi – this is where the earth Xue meets heaven Xue so to allow you to derive the ONE Gua XieZi. Is it obvious? No way! House Form and Alternate BaZhai Star Assignments This is a Form Assessment based on XingSha, Multitier configurations, compartmentalization and Door types. It hinted that Forms take precedents over Formula. It prescribed Secondary and Tertiary methods of BaZhai Stars allocation – Primary (base on House Seating), Secondary (Door Location), Tertiary (Highest Room). Rather strange that in applications there are various method to raised FuWei. Raise FuWei is a method of measuring Xue locations and must it stop at tertiary? This chapter also suggested the uses of “Sky Well” or Court Yard to receive Qi. It also suggests obvious Killing Qi based on House Facing – SanHe BaLu HuangGuan or Eight Roads of Destruction. Rather strange for a SanYuan method conforming a SanHe Killing Qi? What happened to the SanYuan Robbery Sha instead? It goes to show that the 4 fundamental structures are indispensible in SanYuan. Without the Heaven Plate in the SanYuan LuoPan, how do you measure the 4 water mouths?
Incoming Path Discerning YinYang of the 24 mountain Xu-Chen being the YinYang Boundary with Yang (East) and Yin (West). Why it uses Xu-Chen as the YinYang threshold and not Chou and Wei? YuanKong Divination techniques using 6 Yao Hexagram is used to evaluate auspiciousness where the Main Entrance / Stove mouth construct the 1st Yao, from incoming path as 2nd Yao to outgoing path as 3rd Yao, House Facing Gua is the 4th – 6th Yao or the upper trigram. Hexagram’s lower trigram and upper trigram is evaluated between Life Gua and BaZhai Star relationship. This is where BZMJ suggested that if you cannot change the House sitting Gua, change the door facing and if other fails, just move the stove around until you get an auspicious Gua matching. This is called the mystical YangGong Stove method to expedite children and wealth. This is a whole subject by itself. What it is most interesting but not expressly told is that the Location of the Main Door is of paramount important to match the Life Gua yet silence on if it is for the male or the female?
Shining Water Classics Star and Palace relationship is based on Shining Water Classics. It uses secondary BaZhai Star distribution techniques to analyse relationship between Gua of the Main Door location to the door Gua location of the other rooms. The outcomes affect the related family member – Palace Counter Palace. Portends – ShengQi benefits eldest, TianYi benefits second, YanNian benefits youngest. Same applies to JueMing (eldest male), WuGui (eldest son), HuoHai (middle son), LiuSha (youngest son). Jade Carriage Classics BZMJ did not spell out NaJia BaGua as a method to locate the Main Door and instead it employs Jade Carriage Classics to determine the favourable and non-favourable location for water exit. This must be read in tandem with the SanHe 4 water mouths approach. First, the Jade Carriage prescribed the 24 stars with the fixed order lead by a lead star (Fortune, Epidemic, Wealth, Illness, Lawsuits, Knight, Noble, Hang, Village, Thriving, Execution, Madness, Argument, Silkworm, Farm, Weeping, Lonely, Widow, Glorious, Premature Death, Prostitute, InLaws, Extinction, Prosperous). It did not explain where or how these stars come into the picture. It is a prescribed poem assumedly taken from some distance ShenSha text. If you care to take a close scrutiny it prescribed assigning of the 24 stars to the 24 mountains based on House sitting Gua to determine where the lead star is to reside and these mountains are generally the stables (Yin, Si, Shen and Hai) and Ren, Kun, Ding and Geng. No reason given as to the manner it is orderly assigned to generate the 24 mountain charts that show where to open door, water exit, locate toilet and so forth.
Purple White Stars Well, it just don’t stop right there. BZMJ suggests that the Purple White Stars – Replacement star method based on the sitting Gua must be employed to make sure that it is feasibly timely. These replacement stars are evaluated against each of the palaces YinYang and elemental relationships within the LoShu to derive auspiciousness and inauspiciousness. In summary, the outcome is an oversized onion with many layers of theories or methods squeezed together to determine the right door!
Problem With Eight Mansions
Saying thus, it opens up to myriads issues worth investigating. Is our theory wrong or simply our applications going so wrong? One conclusion, Eight Mansion is not as simple as it appears to be.On another note, do you really knows what make a ShengQi really growing Qi and not just name sake? What is the quality of YanNian and the qualifying factors of TianYi and not just those descriptions found on the books available in the market. It is all in the DaGua itself.
More Story On the Predisposition of 8 Mansions 8 Mansions predisposition is based on the Year pillar. The stem branch system of the four pillars is a classic example of defined Yang Heaven above Yin Earth below, not entirely the representation of the Early Heaven arrangement. Taking the postulation that year is the root and the succession hour is the fruit, the year pillar is reflective of the incoming dragon. 8 Mansions predisposition is based on the Year pillar as dragon represents the measurement of Earth Qi – FengShui. By the same token, the 3 cycles or SanYuan is the measurement of Earth Qi. It will be a little strange if we over emphasized that SanYuan measures only Heaven Qi. This is entirely misleading. Another form of predisposition is based on the Month pillar. The month is the branch reflective of the mountain. If the Year pillar is the Greater Yang, then the Month pillar is the Greater Yin. Mountain is influenced by the cycle and phases of the moon. It measures the temporal Qi of a person. Ever wonder why a person’s luck pillar starts from the month instead of the others? By the same token, if one wants to change a person’s luck, which predisposition one has to account for? The Root of The Eight Mansions (BaZhai) Some one told me that The BaZhai that is taught in the market today is not what it is suppose to be. Not many people know that there is the EH part and the LH part. The EH governs the “mountain” aspect and the LH governs “water” aspect. From each type of houses, we determine the LH and EH of the house. From here, we can seek to read and predict the happenings of occupants within the property. Similarly on a defunct Chinese Metaphysic Website called Element V, it was stated that “. …many are not aware that the BaZhai method should not be used for commercial premises. It is an end-user product for relationships, and meant for application to residential dwellings only. I should add that BaZhai applications are based on the Early Heaven Gua, not the Later Heaven Gua, as commonly taught. And the same system can also be used for predicting and analyzing events.” A further infusion of such, was a timely essay from HHC entails the trilogy of Door, Bed and the Stove, seizing up the confused aroma of the classical texts that consist of RuDiYen, BaZhai 4 Books, Complete Text of BaZhai, Classic on the Arrival of the Golden Light Star and BaZhaiMingJing, painting the setting, but not dwelling into roots of BaZhai. So what is the roots of BaZhai? |
